I just received a new to me 2300kt, .177.
The CO2 cartridges will be here soon.

I have a question.

The person who had Crosman build this pistol selected the blade front sight.

I like the muzzle brake type.

Can the front sight be removed on this 2300kt so I can order and put on the Muzzlebreak assembly?

Too, the 2300KT does not have the adjustment knob on the back (I don't care).
What speeds can I expect?

Thanks

The front site is just a light press fit, put the barrel against a piece of wood with the site at least a couple inches away from the wood then pull the gun back sharply and it should come off. You can order the muzzle brake site from the parts department for pretty cheap I believe
Near McMinnville, Oregon

Have me many an airgun :), count is 102 now...

With 7.0gr wadcutters, my 2300KT (10" barrel) averages 525fps .... high of 550fps.  With its preferred pellet (JSB 8.44 Dome) it averages 492fps ..... high of 517fps.  I'll take the hit in FPS as I can stack pellets @ 10meters with the JSB's

45 shots per Co2 bulb

Good pistol .... Good Luck!

Good deal ....  :)

I just took out my chrony sheets for the 2300KT, and its liking to peak from 10-25th shots.  I shoot slow between shots and a couple minute break every 5th. Wouldn't surprise me to see yours peak at 550 somewhere w/7.0's

I've only had my chrony a few short months so shooting temps are around 65-75F.  When real warm temps hit.... those numbers will be higher.

You'll have fun with it ... especially the search for the optimum pellet.  The pistol is worth the effort ...  :-*
