... or are you just pleased to be living in the dysfunctional nanny state known as the UK?

I have read the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006, and can see the bit that says the business sale of air weapons must be by a registered firearms dealer, and the bit that says an RFD has to make the sale face-to-face.

I have also read Statutory Instrument 2007 No. 2605 that amends the Firearms Act 1968 to require an RFD to keep a register of transactions in respect of air weapons, including any component of, or accessory to, an air weapon.

Where I am stuck is: I cannot see a way to put those two together and make it illegal to post component parts or accessories.

I am fairly experienced in this sort of stuff - where am I going wrong?
