Lubes needed to gut a 1377

I'm trying to work up the nerve to totally break down my 1377 for the first time, so I'm planning ahead.
I'm thinking of finally installing a flt top piston too. What lubes do I need to do this? I know many like Ballistol and some of the super lubes, but I'm hoping to not spend much or anything on it.
I already have 10W30 ND (whatever is the weight of the PelgunOil equivalent), Mac1 Secret Sauce, and white lithium grease. Can I get by with just that?

That will get it done . The fancy lubes you talk about like ballistol are great but not necessary.  Those work great for protecting the metals to keep corrosion under control. Nothing to be afraid of tearing down one of those, pretty simple and lots of help between here and gta if you get stuck.

You've got to loose at least one of the safety ball bearings to be considered accomplished.
I just use Pelgunoil and clear silicon grease....
J-B or GooGone?
Tissue test and Q-tips
JSB Exact or LUM-77?
Longer barrel?

Mac1 "Secret Sauce" is all I use. :)

Thanks guys. When I finally get a chance to dig into it, I'll probably have more questions.

I use sae30 non detergent motor oil. Iirc trophyhunter uses petroleum oil. I hear mac-1  secret sauce is good. Davio has a lubr also. Atf is good too. A quart of motor oil will last a lifetime

I'm not sure when I'll strip the gun down (possibly tomorrow), but does anyone have a link to a good video that shows exactly what to lube as it's all put back together? I watched a couple re-build videos today and the only thing I saw getting lube was the piston cup/o-rings.

That about covers it. Unless you want to lube the pivot points if the pump lever and grease the trigger group

You can get by just lubing the piston cup/tube with pellgun oil. And dab some pellgun oil on some of the trigger components, even a slight amount on the hammer if you want. Though you may want to put some grease on the pump pin and trigger parts. I don't think you need to get too fancy with it.
Black air pistols matter.

Thanks guys. I didn't gut it knocked out the pin and removed the barrel band with the help of my wife to hold the gun up.
In a rush to put it back in, I didn't notice that the end was wide open. I'm planning to cut off the sit of the original front site/cap and sand it down to make it round. It will also help stabilize the pump arm and remove some play. I remember reading about guys using brass washer shims so I'm gonna run a search here about that.

I will give my choice even the it has been a subject of humor in the past.  Vaseline petroleum jelly.  There, I said it again.

I've got a 1377 mod I built in '12, flat top piston and valve.  I switched to Vaseline shortly after the build for several reasons:  it has a higher CPU (viscosity) than ANY OTHER lube/"super lube" made, it doesn't run into the wave and foul it...even in summer heat, it doesn't get thick or gummy in winter and one lube will last a very long time.  I have left that pumper in my uninsulated, no air conditioning/no heating shop during winter and summer and lubed maybe twice and have always had no performance issues...period.  I have another pumper now and in the 6 or so months I have had it it has only been lubed with Vaseline.  I don't use a huge gob of the stuff, a light coat on the valve o-ring and a little more on the piston o-ring is all it takes.

There are some that believe that it is dangerous to use since it is a petroleum-based product.  The flash point of Vaseline is so high no airgun will ever come close to igniting it.  As a matter of fact, it is also the only lube i use on my PCP guns.  I had to get a refill on my 80cf scuba tank yesterday and pick up a few extra valve o-ring at a dive shop.  They asked if I needed some silicone dive grease, I told them i use Vaseline, they said a lot of divers do as well.  On a side note: they sell Buna-N o-rings and say there is no true need to use the more expensive Viton rings.  I'll go with that.

Nuts about airguns and just nuts in general...but I'm medicated.

Wonder why they even make the other O-rings?

I'll go with Tim's of MAC1 recommendations.

Mac1 sells the sauce , pick up a crown saver while you're there if you don't already have something to clean the barrel with ;)
