Joe, If you are not a Crosman Custom Shop buyer they(Crosman) will not sell you an 18" barrel.  If you have bought something from the Custom Shop you can probably get the barrel.  It is # 2240-102 (.22)
Alchemy, Baker or Mellon is a good choice unless you are proficient at cutting & crowning.  If so, a Crosman 24" is in your future.

I obtained a 24" .22 barrel from Alchemy for my 1377 conversion, intending to cut it down to 14" and use the rest to make barrel liners for my 38C/38T rebuild.
I found the velocity and accuracy to be excellent with the 24" so I'll be leaving it that length for now but I have been considering cutting it to 18" in the future.
The balance point with shoulder stock and long barrel is perfect for one hand carry and swings naturally onto target.

The 24" barrel has the flat section at the muzzle for indexing the front sight. I've been using the 1377 front sight cut free of the old pivot plug as a temporary sight till I make one from metal to suit my needs.
A wrap of duct tape around the barrel made it a jam fit, I'll add a small hose clamp to it to make it more secure.
I'll be making a sight from steel or brass tubing with a bade soldered on and the tube then soldered or bonded to the barrel.
If you cut down a 24" barrel and intend to mount a front sight keep that in mind.

While the stock and long barrel may technically make this conversion a rifle I prefer to look at it as a long barreled pistol carbine.
The pistol carbine has a long history going back to muzzle loader days. The US Calvary used these in both single shot and revolver form.
