Low UTG Pica-dovetail adapter on one of my builds, D sir.

This looks very nicely balanced.  Everything looks neat and well thought out.  It must be a good shooter too!  :)

I used the same brand of adapter to mount another Vortex red dot.

It's solid  :-*

Send it to Germany, and I'll shoot it for you.   :P

It's available here in Germany and looks nicely machined.  I don't want a breadbox on top of my pistol!  :-*

Will send it tomorrow, D sir  :-\

Oh, you would need only one for your RMR Trijicon if ever, the UTG adapter  :-*

Be forewarned though that even the best red dot will be an imperfect shape if you have uncorrected astigmatism.

I see them as an apostrophe or a starburst, hence I diminish the illumination to mitigate the effect  :-\

Vision is fine.  Thanks for the head's up.  I will send you my address in a PM for delivery of your unfired pistol.  The gun will enjoy living in the Fatherland, and will be fired and cleaned on a regular basis.   ;D

I had my heart set on a 1 MOA reflex green dot and there are none on the market.  There is a 2 MOA green dot Holosun (model ELITE HE 510c.GR) and a holographic 1 MOA green dot, the EOtech HWS XPS2.  The link above compares red dots from each respective company.

Both optics have very favorable reviews with the Holosun being more than 50% lighter, a few hundred dollars less expensive, 20,000-50,000 hours battery life, very crisp reticle, less water protection, more aesthetically pleasing, a bit less rugged, and much smaller.  Te Holosun's reticle can be changed to a dot only, a doto with a 68 MOA circle and another option.

The EOtech is much more rugged, has better night vision capability, is waterproof to 3 meters/10 feet, and has a very crisp reticle.

If I were going to be outdoors and doing some hunting, I'd go for the EOtech.  I'll be mostly indoors or outdoors in nice weather, and don't need night vision.  I like the Holosun's "shake awake" feature, long battery life, lighter weight, smaller size and nicer aesthetics.

I'd prefer to purchase a USA made product, but for my needs I'll probably pull the trigger on the Holosun...

The Holosun also has a quick release mount whereas the EOtech does not...
