I just put in another order at airgun depot, another 1377c, i was just browsing the pages, looking for something fun, not intending to buy anything, then i got these flashing images in my head of a .177 pumper with steel breech, free floated barrel and wooden grips, nex thing i know the money had been drawn from my account  ???.

Oh well, my old bmw racer is way more costly to maintain...just as fun though :-*

Well the one good thing about the Crosman habit is you can spend as much or as little as you want and still have all the fun in the world shooting.  That makes it all worthwhile in my book.

Carl

I've never wanted something so useless in my life.

Sounds like a cool vision you have there for you new 1377c. Don't think I've seen a floating version myself.  ???

Crosman (& the third parties) has bankrupted me for the month but a fun month all the same!   :P
Infact next month will be more fun as my purchases will begin to arrive I hope! Not just a pile of receipts!

Carl, you are absolutely right about that, the 1377 is great fun in stock form, for those of us that manage to keep it like that........ ;D

NorthStaR- me neither, but i think it would look neat, thinking of making the wood myself, got some teak bits laying around somewhere :)

Hehe, tell me about it, i am waiting for no less than four packages, my new BSA scope arrived yesterday, i am sitting and admiring it as i write :P, The clearest optics i have laid my hands on to date  :)

Go for it dude!  :D I think the woodwork is one of the most enjoyable parts of any project. Its the only totally unique part I can produce.
You can make it ergo and taylored to your exact body structure. My recent creation (soon to be updated for all to see) fits me perfectly.
But my little big brother and other smaller friends can't hold it properly/comfortabley. Must be my giraffe neck and gorilla arms!?  ;)

But thats a good thing - when they ask I can say "no you can't have ago, your too small!"......
.....ends with me looking at the rifle and saying in a low Golem voice "My Precious...."   :D ;D :D ;D :D  :-*

Hehe, sitting around sketching target grips now, mmmmmm, woodwork :-*
I could make a few metal bits for it too, might make a muzzle brake for it, put my tig welder to good use and make some fine welds on that.. :-)

Looking forward to see your latest creation:-), what gun is it for, 1377?, 22xx?.

Haha, holding it in your hands perched in some mountain cave, with shifty glances to see if anyone tries to take it away XD.

When someone asks for a try. put on the gollum voice, "musn't ask us, not it's business" XD ;D

I wish I had the space and tools to do this all properly. mmmmmmm....tig welder..... I could've done with something like that!

My latest creation will be updated this week to a 99.5% completed stage. Its base was a 2250b.
If you fancy a peak go here, if you want to skip my waffling to the near completed rifle, goto the bottom of page 4.

The tig is a very useful tool indeed, although renting gas bottles and refilling is expensive, but i did made an exhaust for my car that wont rust :-)

Took a look at it, very very nice :-*

Haha, oh noe we are just looking for a cave for our own precious to dwell in :P

My fourth crosman just shipped, cant wait to start working on it  :D

And now i start to take back my words.
In one costly weekend, it seems i have been struck by unbelievable bad luck.

First i tried to install my brand new disco barrel, it seems it is not much better than the old .22, i clamped the gun down, and at 15 yards it grouped about 6 inches :o, then as i was packing up the gear, i fell breaking my brand new perfect disco wood stock :(.....

So i let it all sit for a few hours, went down to my metal work bench and grinded a bit of heavy metal plates, after a while i tried refilling jy tank with the benjamin hand pump, also very expensive, then it went pop, psssss and a rubber seal was protruding from th bottom of the tube :-(, man i think about 300 dollars plus shipping just went south today......

Just one of those days.......anyone knows how to service a pcp hand pump?. (i did pump it slowly by the way, as to avoid too much wear).

1377x

thats a tough one
can you get a scba/scuba tank? maybe a nitro/argon tank since you do welding
pumps breaking is the reason i use a scuba tank
you might wanna check on pump repair over on the yellow or gta.i seem to remember some posts there
closed mouths dont get fed

Stian17722

I am sitting here laughing  a bit about it now, it ios just about the only thing i can do as i have no funds for replacing all my busted up stuff  >:(

Thanks for the tip about the yellow forum, i doubt i can get a new one on the guarantee, plus shipping it back stateside would cost more than a new pump, will probably try to fix it if i don't hear back from pyramid air regarding the guarantee soon.

Funny thing, as i was testing with the little pressure i had left, the hammer pin fell out of the hammer XD, good thing i already had the replacement.

Well i have a 20 litre tank filled with argon, expensive stuff also, but i might give that a go too :-).

At least my 1377 carbine is working and shooting straight :-*
