Read posts 478 and 479.  They are sturdy as all get out.  They will not break unless you try really really hard to do it.  PM is you want more information.

Thanks Davio. Those look great! I wish I'd known about those when I was shopping for bipods. I'm pleased with my current setup but, I know that won't last.  :D what is the material used?

it is a 3D printed polymer that is very black, hard and durable.

When I had a 1377 I fixed a picatinny rail to the bottom of the pump arm and attached bipod to that. Pumping was no problem because the bipod struts cleared the barrel without any hindrance.  Of course I did change from the stock pump arm. I think you could make it work wth yours.

What happened to Catfish? He is only registered as a guest now ???

I think what happens some times the bi pod is mounted on the very end of a long barrel and maybe the weight causes the POI to change but I must say I never had a problem with mine.

I have use bi-pods on all my rifles except the TX.

Marauder and recently on the PRod.
Under no circumstance should you attach the bi-pod to the barrel.
The barrel, whether using air or powder much be allowed to flex.
Some powder shooters have their barrels put in deep freeze (Like Walt Disney) so that the barrel molecules all line up and vibrate the same for every shot.
Put the bi-pod on your forearm with a sling swivel.
I recently installed one on the forearm of the PRod and because the forearm is plastic I put a metal strip inside the forearm to absorb some of the strain put on the arm by the sling swivel. It works perfect and has no effect of the accuracy of the PRod  and it looks good to:
