Didn't really know that there was an AS2250.  I think some are just lazy and don't want to type out the whole name.

Since I'm retired, I have plenty of time to type the "XT" on there :) :) :), but seems useless to me since there's only one AS2250 ever been made..I just ASSUMED it was common knowledge...BTW  the "xt" designates that it came with mounts and scope :-*

the reason im asking is i came across an as2250 tube and was wondering how hard it would be to put it together piece by piece
im not into co2 guns they are worthless here in minnesnowta. im almost done with my new project
and since i have no experience with co2 guns i thought i would take a crack at it.
i dont really want to mess with a 2240

To put together an AS2250 piece by piece is waaay tooo expensive...I know because I built one that way...and I think Carl did one as well...Cost was well over $100.00 IIRC..I think I saved a list with all the part numers you need to do it,, but, I'd say just find a whole gun and buy it...what say ye Carl ??

Packrat is way correct on the cost. Getting all the pieces separately gets way too expensive.  Better off finding finding a used one.

AS2250XT uses 88 grams carts
2250 uses 12 gram carts
2250XE uses 12 gram carts

for those without keen observation skills  ;D to me the biggest differences.

oh, and Mike? quit showing me that XE, I just drool to much......I love that shooter!

You could build one to use with high pressured air... the temp shouldn't make a difference I don't think. I could be wrong though.

i left my disco pistol out in the garage sub zero weather, there was no change in the pressure gauge it was 2k when i set it out there and was 2k 6 weeks later -0 weather
shot it the gauge dropped its normal drop but it sounded different, could be because sound doesnt travel the same hot vs cold temps
i didnt chrony the shot so no telling if there was a change in velocity .it did do what it was supposed to do though with authority.
