Nah, its a really cool band. You could even go for a tri-mount weaver band setup with that badboy. Laser, torch and harmonica. 

Does it keep the balance good?

Actually I mounted it on "Rowdy", my 2300kt because it was the only one with an empty cart, and I wanted to post some outside photos before it got dark. I plan to put it on either Nugget or Rascal latter once it is finished. If I were selling this it would have the dovetail but since I will not be mounting a laser or flashlight why go to the extra trouble?

I will mention it is 2.187" long and has a wall thickness of .200". The stock Crosman is .187" wall thickness. One end is touching the breech and the other end locates at the end of the tube, no adjusting on this one, nowhere to go!
