qb 78 hdd on a 2240 ?

Archer air guns have an hdd for a qb79 made out of steel. Are the breeches similar in size, I wouldn’t mind spending 30$ on a steel one that will last a long time as apposed to 20 on a plastic one that lasts 200-500 shots

The QB-78 device was designed by the same fellow who did the 22XX device and I don't believe the QB-78 device will work on the 22XX guns.

Might be worth a shot,    , but I wouldn't expect it to work.

I do have one on my QB-78 (AR2079A) and it works well and has lasted for more than nine months, or more than 1500 shots.

totally different set ups between the two guns --- i would agree with carl.there is another one for the benjamin/sheridan which is different .each is made FOR the specific gun as each gun is different

just a thought, I know ( I think I know) the qb is based off the crosman and I saw a post on it somwere

would be nice if there was something out there that was guaranteed to last a bit longer --- i would jump on the wagon fer shur ---- i can find better ways to waste my money

But, would that QB 2-pc system work in the 2240 if the parts were sized accordingly??

It looks really simple to copy, just a tayloring of scale maybe. A u-bend wedge and a groove cut in the pin. Some good pictures here:
