I've noticed the DAQ 2540 article says 8.64fpe with just a .25 barrel
http://www.quackenbushairguns.com/2240.html

Anyone like to comment on extra fpe gained presumably due to weight and BC of a .25 pellet

I understand the trajectory of a 10fpe .25 would be loopy be GREAT fun and real rat splatter

I'm guessing Barrel length?

Like the way the barrel length effects the power which makes the difference between the 2240 and 2250, just a longer barrel- a bigger run up for the jump.

He also makes his owns barrels so the twist and choke may also be a factor?
