put my medalist back together and chrono,d it and power is 3.4 with 14.5g superdomes and 4.0fpe with 11.9 hobbies both at 10 pumps its the 1989-1996 so think its a phase 2 model. ive drilled an hole in the grey plastic probe to aid flow and thats it. also after getting the pump arm pin out (what a *******) its now working itself loose when i pump it?? yet when i knock it back in it takes alot of force

also is it common for the seal cup that pushes the air into the valve. to wear out quickly

You need to put a drop of oil on the pin in the middle the reason its working out is its spining when you pump the gun.  I think  :-* also you need to put a drop of oil on the piston seal if its dry.

What Mike said, plus you might want to invest in a pump pin from MellonAir.

My 1377 worked its way loose within 50 shots  :( but recently I fitted a mellonair pin and solved that :)
