Bigger picture would be great for us with old eyes.  Looks like it might be an end-cap for a 1377 made out of brass.

Nice.  Very, very nice.   :-*   :-*   :-*

And in spite of all that we know about him, Rich is one great guy and an excellent machinist.

Now don't go giving me a big head! I'm an ok machinist, not great (can never say great, cause just like in boxing, there is always always a better machinist). Someone posted a pic of this 1377 plug and so I just had to make one. I knew I wouldn't use it for a while, if ever, so off  it went to another member.

As an example in the pic below;  It is sort of like this muzzle brake. I saw one that looked kind of the same and just had to make one. A little different and this one has no slots or holes yet (still decideing on the pattern) as well as not polished yet, but I had to make it. Sometimes, I am possessed!! I was just trying out the fit on the barrel here.

You could thread the end of that brake to give you swappable options. You can then switch between a stripper, muzzle or a Ssssh thingy at will. That's how all of mine are setup. Looks real nice as is though!  :-*

You must be in the UK or Europe??
I'm thinking that threads are a no no in the US. Powder Burners use threads for them, but then you also need another type of Federal license. Not good for us airgunners to go there in my opinion. But look for my thread later in the Off Topic area about my trip to the gun range. Talk about forgetting how loud it was!!

over on the talon forum there is a sticky about airguns and ldc's
one guy was charged with having shusher on his airgun went to jail the case got over turned because it was on an airgun and it would have to be modified to go on a firearm.

No worries!  ;)  whilst I know we can't discuss the items contents, I do find it odd you can buy US airguns with report altering designs.

Say no more...   :-X   I'm not encouraging you to do it! Not worth the time...(inside!  ;D )

maybe if more people did it then they would make a concrete law so there wont be anymore worries
then again this is the usa they would probably prohibit the airguns :-X :-X
