Reduce pump noise

Can someone please tell me how to reduce noise when pumping up my 1377, want to use in deer blind for raccoon control without spooking deer?

Some guys put felt or rubber between the pump arm and the tube, glued to the arm.But it cant be to thick also pump slow and try to control the down stroke.

Most office & art supply store's have those small roll's of real thin cork or even a piece of old T-shirt. I have used both

I've got felt on a couple of my pumpers and it helps a bit.  I have those little rubber pads that are used on the back of frames to keep them from scuffing the walls and I think it works a bit better then the felt.  Though, the best I've found came on an 80's blue streak I bought a few months back... it has a small piece of 3/8s inch rubber hose wedged in at the base of the pump arm and it is the quietest of my pump guns when pumping.  I'm guessing it has been there awhile because it has rubbed the paint off the brass where it contacts the tube in a perfect "O" shape, but it does the best job cushioning and quieting the pump arm closing.

I might try some of those little felt or cork tabs you cn buy to go on the legs of wobbly tables, I do find now with a muzzle brake the pumping noise is as loud or louder than 50yds downrange.
