I just received a Chrony today, but when it is turned off, the data is wiped out. I wanted to save my data to my computer, but was not willing to shell out for a ballistic printer or ballistic software and a PC interface. So, I worked up this Excel spreadsheet that produces most of the same calculations of a Shooting Chrony or other chronograph. If you use Excel or similar spreadsheet program, you can generate various types of graphs of your data. too. Anyone who wants to keep velocity records on their computers might find this spreadsheet worthwhile.

The spreadsheet is not locked so you can edit it anyway you wish. You can enter data directly on your computer or print out copies to use in the field. The file is in .xlt (template) format.

Feel free to try it out, submit comments and point out errors. PM me with your email addy and I will send it out to you. I cannot attach files to posts so a screen capture of v1 is below.

I believe his latest version does work with the F-1 and I think he also has a cable now.

Drop him a message to get the straight skinny though.
