I first watched this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMIWFXJ-8R8#]Build Your Own Shooting Bench)  I than bought the legs suggested in the video from Amazon for $38.00 (Rugged Buddy)  I than bought a precut 2’ X 4’ piece of plywood  from Lowes for $13.00.  About a hour later you have a very nice shooting bench.  Bench is sturdy and after folding the legs you can take it to the field.  Add a piece of clean carpet and you are good to go. I’m sure none of you are as dumb as me and would use a grey carpet, the same color as the pellets your looking for.

Awesome! I have been thinking about a shooting table ever since I tested the 1701P at Fred's house. The last time I shot benchrested was with a peice of plywood resting on a lawn chair. Not the steadyist bench, for sure. Looks like all I will need is the legs and carpet to make a copy of yours!!

Thanks for posting  :-*

That was my plan, but I have had the plans for a few months and nothing! At least with the one above, there will be minimal cutting and assembly time....for me it might actually be do-able  :D

Again I really like the simplicity and portability of this bench.  Ordered the same legs from Amazon Saturday night so I'll be building one this week.  Going to Lowes today to get me a 3/4" piece of plywood.

Last time I saw this video and tried to order, the legs were out of stock... just ordered my legs, and they should be here on Wednesday (free two-day shipping woohoo).

I shoot outside off the patio, I use cinder blocks ( 8 ) stacked by 2 with a 18" flat concrete stepping stone for a top surface, it is solid and can be moved if necessary,  + cheap
