Got a 2300T on the way

I just ordered a 2300T for my wife. Personally, I prefer non-CO2 guns, but she hasn't got much upper body strength, and can't really handle pumping or cocking airguns. It's good to be a man.

She loves shooting my Marauder, but says it is too heavy.

My Daisy 953 and 747 are even too hard.

I thought about a Hammerli 850 Magnum; too expensive. Thought about an Archer QB78, but that would still be heavy compared to my Daisy 1200. (even though it's loads more powerful)

The 2300T seem like a good compromise gun, since she likes pistols, and has the carbine option too.

Then, with two Crosman pistols in the family, I may get around to modding my 1377 some more. (it just has the steel breech and shoulder stock for now.)

Just had to share the excitement.

Nothing wrong with excitement.  You wanted to buy one anyway, right? RC

I enjoy my 1377 and thought I'd not have another CO2, but now I got Three Custom Shops.  LOL
It ain't like it used to be but, eh, it's do.

I have a 2300T and it is the most accurate gun I own.I put a power adjuster, discovery hammer spring, muzzle brake ,carbine stock and a cothran frictionless trigger on it.But it has really gotten to cold to shoot it because of the Co2.

She's gonna love the 2300T. I have several and they can be modded to no end or shot just the way they are.

I will certainly be shooting it more. But when we do go shooting together, she will have The Perfect Gun. (I hope!, otherwise, I will have to keep buying one airgun after another to try to satisfy like a good husband.)

My suggestion is to do a little work on the trigger. Its a bit rough and she may not care for it much.

Sounds good Dave. Is it the same as on the 1377? Crush down the spring a little and polish up the sides a bit? Or add teflon washers?

Pretty much the exact same trigger with the exception being the adjustable trigger spring which surprisingly works quite well.

I've never wanted something so useless in my life.

The adjuster does help but I found the 2300 to still have way too much creep to it. A little tinkering and the TKO trigger kit made it much nicer.
