In stock form, it doesn't seem to do anything that a 2300T wouldn't do, aside from the better trigger. But since that one is modded, it sends a CPL out at ~600 fps.

Sold my PlayStation 3 and iPod Touch, neither of which I was using, to raise the funds. There's enough left for a scope, too!

My wife and I will be a dynamic duo. Her with her 2300T, and me with my 1701P.  That's assuming she doesn't commandeer my 1701P and "stick me" with the 2300T. :)

I probably could've gotten away with just the 1701P, but I was not sure I was up for all that pumping. (I don't do the tank thing)

The 2300T is supposed to arrive today. I signed the sheet to let the UPS guy know it's OK to leave it.

Great purchase.  You will love the gun.  Mine is one of my best shooters.

It is true, I sold the pistol to fund one of my other hobbies (hangs head in shame)  But he is getting a good one.

yeah, when I saw that one, all I could say is "Wahhh, why don;t I ever have any money?"  ;D
It did appear to be a pretty good one!

I've been there too. Powderburners, RC trucks and planes, woodworking, motorcycles, mechanical watches... I don't know about you, Johnnie, but I kind of rotate through these phases. Oh, let's not forget video games (of which I sold two systems to fund this purchase!)

Expecting our first kid in March, so most of them will come to a screeching halt. Watches can be done with anything else, so that'll stay. RC and airguns may go into remission until I have time...

Good luck with the other hobby!

It makes me think that we are lucky in the US to have disposable income for hobbies, even in this economy.  :-*
