I want to see some pics of the guns mounted on your RC heli's.  What make do you have, Gas, Nitro or Elect?  Have a, never flown off a homemade trainees stand, e-Flite 400 3D with an extra Spektrum 6Xi that I'm trying to sell to enlarge my Crosman collection.

hehehe....let's see....I have the first one I ever bought in '90  a .32 nitro Hirobo ZXX (and never crashed  :-*)....then my T-rex 450 SE in a fiberglass airwolf fuse, my T-Rex 250 in an NYPD Hughes 500 fuse, my thunder tiger Mini Titan in a supercobra body...my Eflite 400 3d in a coast guard AW 109 fuse (and 4 blade rotor head), eflite cx2, cx3, mcx2, mcpx, msr, msr190, cp pro2 in bell huey body..... my current project is a T-Rex 600 nitro, inside a Huges 500 TOW defender fuse, working lights and 5 blade rotor head, and a T-Rex 500 electric kit in the closet, deciding on a fuse for it now too..... also to my collection, i have close to 20 planes...electric, 2 stroke and 4 stroke nitro's....from wingspan sizes around 17" to 120".....  then, i have 4 nitro boats, one electric...and plans to build a gasser as well...... i own a 3ch spektrum for the boats, an 8ch spectrum for my heli's, and a 7ch spektrum radio for my planes...then i have a few older fm futaba's (an 8UAF still hooked up to my ZXX heli) and one fm JR laying around too lol...

Several of us mounted paint ball guns to our Hurricane 500 helis and used a spare channel to control the firing solenoid we added.  It made for some great air battles.

No wonder you have so much spare time.  Now all you need are a few 1/4 (WCM, Cracker or Pro-1) and 1/5 scale (FG) RC cars to keep you out of trouble.
