Very nice Mr. Hellgrips. Those palm grips share the same grain patterns as my coconut custom made dart quivers. I had them made here in Davao City Phils. by a guy known as the best coco-based novelty items maker. The dark colored quivers they are bamboos. Sent some of them to my American friends in the US. I have a guy here who says he has a black native timber called "Banlas" (endemic maybe ) as or almost as tough "Kamagong" so he says. Another variation of it is reddish in color. He will bring some for me soon. Not meaning to hijack your thread sir sorry

awesome work by John    dang bro, when I ordered these grips, you mentioned you couldnt make any foregrips because the wood you were getting wasnt thick enough to make em...now that I'm seeing those, I definitely need one to go with the grips!!!!

those dark type i could make pumpers with them but not the lighter specie that you have... i like the lighter ones better than the dark as the lighter ones have reflective strings of fiber in them too bad i cant make pumpers out of it

i even tried cutting the whole tree before and all there is is the skinny hardwood on the outside

I really like your Dark Ebonies.   The green tinted color is nice as well.    I am very interested in a setup for my 1377.
