For those who have a 1389 or 2289 forearm on their air pistol/rifle could you tell me how wide it is?

I know some like the 760 forearm while others prefer the 1389/2289 forearm, and since I have a 760, I can just pick it up and "feel" and measure.

Thanks
It ain't like it used to be but, eh, it's do.

its 2in wide at tle flare part of it
thinner on top and bottom of that part
if you look at my avatar
there is a 760 forearm on my 1377
no pinched fingers
i get pinched fingers with the 13-2289 forearm as well as the stock one
i have a 1389 stock and forearm ill probably use them on my next build because that wont need to be pumped as much so i wont have to worry about to many pinched fingers
closed mouths dont get fed

Mentioning pinched fingers . . .  have you ever cocked a Beeman P-3, or the Cheaper Beeman P-17/Marksman 2004 model Single-stroke Pneumatic?  Mine has bit me a couple of times!

no i havent
the only pumper i ever owned is the 1377
the only air rifle i had was some kind of break barrel pellet gun
some co2 pistols when i was young
357, powermatic & some kind of crosman i think lost them in the shuffle
i wont buy an air rifle no need for one all my rifles are powder burners
1377 serves her purpose just fine
closed mouths dont get fed

I have the 2289 forearms on both my 1377c's, I like them, had to get the longer 2289 pins for them, but it is a big improvement

Nate

i agree, the 2289 pump arms are by far the most comfortable pump arms to use, plus i think they look realy cool. and they are more solid than the 1377 pump arm, they are made out of the same material as the 1399 shoulder stocks. they are actualy stong enough that you can put a picatiny rail on them and mount a fore grip for added stability (here goes Nate again with his tacticool stuff  ;D) and it is strong enough for a good firm grip on it

Sorry for thread reboot  :-[

I'm looking at 2289 forearms to fit to my 1322 and I've two questions please.

Would you agree with above that easier to use than stock forearm including does it make it easier.

It's mentioned that it needs longer pins, there is no mention of this on the site who are selling (SD Custom in UK) will stock pins work or do I need to try and source longer ones?

Many thanks  :-*

I'm not sure on the longer pins but the handle does feel better and less chance of pinching a finger. Knowing Crosman I would highly doubt you would need longer pins though.

I reused the stock pins when I replaced mine.

I also used the stock pins on mine. The part number is 1389-025 for the forearm. Cost about $8.75 + shipping.
We need to keep going and have fun doing it.

I used the stock pins as well...on a phase 2 1322 if that matters.

A huge improvement IMO and well worth doing.

Thanks guys, I think I will order one based on your positive feedback.  They are $20 plus shipping over here but sounds worth it  :-*
