Hey guys I just tried to order a custom shop gun and found out they wont ship to michigan! So i tried a regular crosman rifle and same thing! Does anyone have any more info on this? orany work arounds? i have my heart set on a 24 inch carbine with mock carbon fiber stock, black muzzle brake, and silver trigger shoe. I NEED this gun haha it was going to be my first dive into this hobby besides the regular kid pellet guns I had

Do you have kin or a friend in another state that it could be shipped to and then they ship to you? Ever thought about moving to a less strict state?

Jeez, that stinks. Check your local laws, maybe you could get a .177 cal gun, but I think that's an Illinois law. I feel your pain, I live in the Peoples Republic of MA and we can never get anything shipped here. So, I would say try a relative somewhere else or see if you can find a gun or airgun store to do a transfer for you.  ???

Yep, Michigan is on the do-not-mail-to airgun list.

See pyramid air says they can ship here though? so im lost on this whole thing ??? ? I know you need a pistol permit in Michigan if the barrel is under 18 inches...  but rifles are sold at walmart and every other store here.  Even .22 cal.  It seems like it will be harder for me to buy this pellet gun then it was to buy my real rifle.

If the rifle you tryed didn't have a shroud they should ship it, but no shrouded barrel another one of your state laws.  I know a guy from their he uses AOA they will ship to you. Hope its OK to post a link I'm kinda new here, if I'm wrong then I'm sorry. http://www.airgunsofarizona.com/

i live in Illinois. I too am NOT able to order a custom shop gun. Or any gun from them directly.
Anything over .18 cal and 700 fps is considered a firearm in Illinois.
Several zip codes in Illinois, including Chicago have a total ban on shipping even a Daisy Red Ryder.
I was told by someone at crosman, " Since there are so many areas they cannot ship to, they just put a blanket ban on the entire state.
The only way around it is to have it shipped to a friend or family member outside your state.

As far as having a friend ship it to you, they would be breaking the law.  It would be best to go pick it up at friend/kin's house.

Wouldn't it be breaking the Law either way? I mean if they aren't allowed, does it matter how you came by it?  ???

Anyway, I'm not here to Police. I'm not even in the US!  :D ;D ;D  I'm off to screw-on something else you guys aren't allowed...  ;)

So  maybe you guys can help me out... and point me in the right direction to where to buy all the separate parts for this rifle and build it my self? Sorry for all the questions just a newbie trying to get into this!

Well you have a few options:

1: Browse this list and you may come up lucky. It lists a million stores, makers,modders.....from all over the world:

2. Once you get upto 15+ (if not 20) posts you can put a "wanted" thread out.
This is an area closed to newcomers until enough posts are made. There's always parts listed for sale or if not just ask and they often turn up.

3. Get in a car and go shopping in another State!  :P

I posted a link to where to go,You have the answer I live in il and they will ship it. No laws are broken if you don't live in a couple counties and I don't. If over 685 fps or in .22 you need a FOID card and I got one.  They don't ask for the card but to legally own a. 22 Cal pellet gun doesent matter the fps you need one. If under 685 fps you can buy one anywhere. Some don't ship to IL its not worth their time. I just usually drive to MO to buy them but when I cross the state line I'm legal becouse I have a FOID card  (Firearms Owners' Identification) If you do live in those counties why would you want to break the law over a pellet gun. Same goes for state laws. If you know they can legally ship it order from someone else.

Well tenderfoot, thanks for  the info. BUT my question was for a crosman custom  gun shop gun.  I know of many places that will ship to Michigan but know I am looking for the parts to build my gun sence crosman won't sell it to me the way I want it.   Thanks for the info though...

You can order all the parts you want, crosman will ship parts to you, just not complete guns.
