I just got my SKS cheek rest today and got it installed using a few pieces of pipe insulation for spacers.I saw Quickster had one on on his stock and it looked pretty good ,they are only around $9.

Nice, where did you purchase it and what kind of shipping charges?

Here is where I got it  http://www.parts4sks.com/sks_accessories/category/SKS_cheek_rest.html .The total price was $8.95 + $9.95 UPS shipping=$18.90.The plus side is you don't have to drill or cut on the stock at all.

Cool, thanks for the info. Isn't it amazing that the shipping is often more expensive than the parts  ???

I know shipping on pellets is so high I try to get most of mine at Wally World.

Try to have one sent overseas, to NL for instance.. I almost had a heart attack when I heard P4SKS mention the price..
