It holds up good. I have it on my oily red ryder.
Though I am also interested on how it will hold up on such big letters.
If dirt will get in there.

Now that I've tried it out on my so so gun, I will be doing my premium line of Crosman's. I just noticed that my Model 114 made in 1955 had the lettering highlighted from the factory. Needs a touch up, but I wonder what year they dropped doing that?

There is some sort of crayon Police use to mark parking meters with that does the same thing and apparently works quite well.
