What is the limits for target shooting with a 1377 with a flat top piston with a nice mil dot scope and a 24 inch barrel? What about the same specs on a 1322?

1377x

what are we shooting?
i have a decent mil dot scope it was pretty easy to learn how to use the mil dots.gauging distance is pretty accurate using them

No more than about 85 yards with any accuracy.  And that's using a descent pellet with some downrange energy left to do damage.

I would say 100 yards. it's not a 1377 but still should be able to if the power is there for the 1377.

That's not a Crosman gun, Mike. That's an Edgun Matador. It's a PCP from Russia that runs something like $1500.

I no what it is but if you can get that power behind the pellet im sure it would shoot good at 100 yards.I get almost 800fps out of one of my 1377s and have shot it at 50 yards with no problem im sure if i take it to 100 it would make the shot.It has a 24" barrel and FT setup im not saying it would shot as good as Teds gun but it can be done. And that was the question.Just my opinion.

power/velocity doesn't mean accuracy ---- i would rather be able hit my mark than worry if that shot goes off into
TOO many freaks and NOT enough circuses

1377x

i can say my 2250 barrel(14.5") has the accuracy next is power when used in my 38fpe disco pistol at 100 yards the pellet would smack with authority sendind quarry flying about 3 ft in the air dont mean to sound morbid but it was quite the sight
with that same barrel on my modded 1377 45-50 yards was no problem

since we are talking about a 1377, too, more than likely a .177 thats a light pellet
if the accuracy is there 40-50 yards.if the UK guys can do it with sub 12fpe high end guns, i dont see any reason a well prepped (1760 24")crosman barreled 1377 couldnt do it.you would have to be one hell of a shot though

Looks like a good challange to see if it can be done.
