How can you tell if you have a leaking FT valve???

Pump it up with a few pumps and wait an hour. Put a tissue in from of the barrel and pull the trigger.

BTW: Keep your hand out of the way and don;t load a pellet!!! If you have air your good for an hour. Real test is overnight and then a day and then a week. Same test.

Other than the obvious hissing if it is leaking really bad, I don't know of any easier way??

Should you keep a pump or 2 in the gun between shooting sessions.

I routinely chrony my pistols so I can spot power loss. a leak in a valve would certainly show up.

I store all my pneumatic and CO2 guns with a charge. Two pumps on a 1377 should be sufficient.
