CONVERSION..

 That should I change my 1377 to convert it to CO2? is only a proyect...

have at it a new tube is cheap if you dont like it!

Well, I just completed this conversion.  I used a 1740 tube, striker, piercing knob, rear plug and valve.  You will also need a new front sight.  I used the muzzle brake assembly from a 2300S.  All up cost is about $40.00.  Was it worth doing?  I guess so as I didn’t much like the whole pump-up routine.  Also, I already had the “long” steel breech and wanted to try the “floating barrel configuration so did not use a barrel band.  If you use the plastic breech you will need a barrel band.

It is just what I want, get the  floating barrel ,not having to pump in every shot (I have two 1377, one mine and one for my wife, the second serious I'm going to transform.

I would just buy a 2240... maybe get am $11 .177 barrel from Crosman Customer service if you want that caliber.
