Whenever you charge the Mark pistol, cock it first before piercing the CO2. Cocking is done by pushing those two knurled knobs in front of the trigger guard. These pistol have a low (first click) and high (second click) cocking position. Here is a link to an owner's manual - http://airgunartisans.com/AirgunSchematics/C600-OM.pdf

Whoops, that link was for a 600. Can't remember what position the cocking knobs were in but if it wasn't cocked what would that mean? Going back down to mess with it again. Will check back in soon. Thanks

When you cock it you should hear two clicks.

OK, more info. I do feel the two clicks so i'm good with that. I thought it was holding Co2 but realized after I put the second cart in that it's piercing and dumping all the Co2 out of the cap. Hers a pic. It appears that there should be some type of seal/oring on the cap. I tried an oring but it still dumped. Will one of you guys look at your cap and seal if it has a seal?

sandpiper

And here she is  :)  Came with the pellets.

You are missing an o-ring on the CO2 cap. Honestly, your best bet is to buy a reseal kit and give the gun a complete cleaning and lubing. At least you will know it is overhauled and good for a long time.

Thanks guys, I was hoping to get away with not having to reseal her since I already have two other guns apart and the fact that I'm dying to shoot it. I absolutely love the sights!

i do the same thing!
funny thing is airguns are prohibited there but people still list them and they keep on selling
on a firearm forum i belong to a guy saw an ad for a glock .45acp so he calls the seller thinking he was going to get a good deal.turns out the seller had a hipoint .45acp so the potential buyer flagged the ad because firearm sales are prohibited
what a jerk it was ok until he found out it was a hp instead of a glock

Have a diagnosis. I found an o-ring that fits the cap, put a new cart in and could see the frost building. The piercing pin seal is leaking. Oh well, another project  :P Going to order a kit from Rick at precision pellets. Thanks again guys.

Nice score John she looks real clean. Rick is the man for the seal kit for sure.
