Is there any way to crown a barrel with home-found tools? like sandpaper and a pencil? i don't know i'm just wondering. I'm looking to buy a 24 inch .177 barrel from Crosman for my 1377 and I don't know if those come crowned or not. Im not planning on cutting it down, but who knows, maybe I'll want to.

Someone did a post where they crowned a barrel using a ball bearing chucked into a drill and it looked like it worked very nicely.  You might try that.

Crosman barrels come "crowned"...quoted because it may or may not be a good crown.  They never look good, but some shoot well as is.

Hmmmm....

I Don't really like the looks of the tool after just one use. Mine should be here any day (I hope) now and I'll give it a go with the "sandpaper/cloth" to see what happens.
Long days and pleasant nights to you...
