Police at the house

Lol last night i was poping off a few shots to end the day my daughter said dad the police are coming to the house, one of my buddys was driving by and decided to drop in for a quick visit  OMG half of the nieghborhood came outside to see what happen. Anyway Jay asked if he could try the gun it was the Colt 1911 he could not believe how real it looked and felt. He took the 8 shots and said i want one

  Good one Mike, my neighbor 3 doors down is a county sheriff, he stops by now and then to play with the latest airgun acquisitions, no problem when he's in his civilian clothes but when he shows up in uniform, the wags and nags around the neighborhood get all kinds of interested! 

PS I showed him the pic of the Colt Combat pistol that's comin form PA and he want's one too! Another fledgling airgun-addict is born!

that was my first thought also. and that scenario would also be my worst nightmare. thoughts of the sheriff rolling up to my house take away some of my airgun enjoyment. not so much for the fine or the scolding, but the "i'm sorry sir, but i'm going to have to confiscate that really cool scoped airgun". then you know they'd be havin' fun later that day down at the HQ popping soda cans.

Always good to live near, and be friends with law enforcement.  Unfortunately I live near a butthole who calls the cops every other day to complain about someone/something.

Depends on the crime or circumstances, for the "heavy duty" crimes, it's supposed to be bagged and catalogued and impounded to property by end o' shift or as ordered. For minor infractions like discharging an airgun against some ordinance (except in S.F. Cali, that would be a major crime  ) they don't have do much but toss it in the cruiser or throw it in a drawer back at HQ.

here they will give it back after a riot act, now you know no excuses,and no crime was committed.thats the way it is firearms anyway
they usually gets auctioned off if the owners dont claim them.firearms get melted down and turned to art
they get a pretty big ball here.there is at least 2 illegal firearms taken off the street a day .doesnt sound like much but it makes a difference

Now it all makes sense, I wondered where all those airguns came from
