  Got all this today and started my build BUT I'm not real happy  with the FPS ( 782 ) I guess I'll be saving up and ordering one of Don Cothran's power house valves!  I have a P-ROD valve in it now but its just not doing what I wanted !!    I'm looking for the mid 1100 fps !!

I couldn't help myself.  If it just didn't say "John Wayne" I would have passed.  But now I have a pellet type - nickel finish ordered.

Got the DRO's in today and 4 feet of 6061 aluminium. Cheapo DRO's until I can get a proper one. Was going to put these on the lathe, but the more I think about it, the mill will be better because of all the holes/slots I will be doing. I'll do the lathe shortly.
Enough aluminum to do a practice run of about 10 breeches and a few brakes.

Well guys, I made my first leap into modding the 2240 that has been shooting poorly. One of the members here is sending me another 7" .22 barrel for this beast. But, just in case it's another lost cause, I placed an order with Davio for an ambi breech, stainless .177 & .22 bolts, a handle, and a LW barrel. This will let me experiment a little more and probably lead to needing (wanting) something else to go with this stuff.
