Ah, the Daisy Avanti 499. I thought you were trying to sell yours? Now I know what to ask Santa for Christmas. Only down side, I just looked at PA, out of stock. Amazon has them, but the price is higher. If we ever have a 5M BB rifle match, I'll  need one. LOL

Ha ha ha    Actually, I shoot mine at 10 meters all the time, it's good for .50" or less CTC at 10 meters if you manage the (mild) spring gun recoil. The Avanti BBs are it's only food, as the barrel is actually a true .177 caliber and is electro-polished at the factory.

I checked all the usual "suspects" like PA, AGD, AGW and even Midway USA and everyone is out of stock, must be Xmas?

My new Remington 1911. Dang, now I'm seeing double. I think I might have to send it back though, the safety does not engage with the hammer down, only with the hammer back. The Witness safety works with the hammer down or back. Rats!! Just my luck. I haven't shot the Remington yet, but I think I will before I send it back for an exchange.

Well, all is good. I did some checking and found out that the Remington 1911 safety works just like a real 1911. You can't put the safety on unless the hammer is pulled back and ready to fire. I just got through putting cart number 1 through it and it worked with no problems. If you want a, real as it gets 1911 BB gun, then this the one you have been looking for.

You can field strip this thing purity much like a real 1911 and the witness 1911. It is a KWC 1911. I shot 3 carts through this this afternoon and found out is does not like the Daisy Avanti BB's. It like the cheap Walmart Daisy BB's. Go figure.

I got real tired of dragging rifles out of cases and having to put them back... to the point of not getting them even when I wanted to.  I ordered this from a USA family owned business that sells them on eBay.  He has another one that holds 48 rifles!  Mine holds 12.  He also has wall racks that have a top rail and a bottom rail that hold 2, 4, 6. 10 or 16  rifles depending on the one you choose.  His store link: http://www.ebay.com/sch/caroljowilliams/m.html?item=331388070609&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562
