     Thanks guys, we have several Avanti (Daisy) SPP's with the LW barrels, and a couple of Crosman 1720's, but since I could, and really wanted one, I went for it. They will also get the benefit, and hopefully I'll get enough interest to get a pistol team together in the club. I have a couple of pistol shooters, but we need at least three seniors, or juniors.  This might just bring a few of them around, and with the weight, it will be very easy for them to handle. It has quite a nice long sight radius but I may have to sand the grip down a bit, as it's a little big for my hand. Not a complaint, it was designed to be ambidextrous, just needs to be thinned around the middle a bit.

Again thanks all, and I'll start a thread for it, and get some of my own pics up in the next few days. Little busy getting ready for that match, and that other thing some of us have to do still (work).

I got some goodies this week    but 1st a story to set it up..........


Ever have one of those weeks? Well as for work, it has been a bear! I sure am glad I only work PT. Started out the week having to drill 18" long x 2" diameter bars thru with a 1/2" drill. Now one or two wouldn't have been bad but, try 20 of 'em!


Then the fun started. 2-1/4" long x 3" diameter slugs drilled thru  with a 2" drill, then bored to fit a bronze bushing and then press the bushing in on the hydraulic press and then re-chuck to bore the bushing to size.........try 40 of 'em! That 2" drill will just flat wear you out.


Then, because I had a brain fart, I had to re-chuck the 18" bars again to turn a 3/4" groove in the OD...........Phew!


So, I come home today totally beat, wanting to quit and my wife says......What did you get in the mail today? I don't know (yeah, 3rd base). I did not order anything.


Well, I open up the package and there is the bulleye stamp and ink pad. And then I am thinking about the Secret Sauce I got in the mail yesterday from another member here on the forum.......... I felt and feel humbled and that is not an easy thing to do to me. So a sweat packed week at work is just a bad memory now, but the sauce and bullseye stamp are going to be around for a very long time! Maybe, I'll show up for work next week after all.........maybe
