any one ever crony'ed a 2240 with a power adj.? I'm curious about how low it will go for indoor shooting.

Here are two tests run on a 2240 using the power adjuster assembly from Crosman from the 2300T pistol.

thank you breakfastchef, that is what I was looking for. 412 fps still seems strong for a 15' range, maybe I'll just concentrate on my 1377c with maybe around 2 pumps. I sure do like my 2240 though. I suppose I could always go to a weaker hammer spring, but then you get into cartridge penetration.  I tried airsoft, a Umerx Beretta, I pass more wind farting  : >)

412 fps is perfect for 5m shooting. Go for it!!

Pirouge,
I have a 2300KT that only gets 40something shots from a cartridge and I am planning to order and install a transfer port and a valve spacer from a 2300S into my gun to see if I can get closer to the 60 shots reported from that gun.  I don't care much about the power, I'm punching paper with it and looking for consistency and efficient Co2 usage.  I'll report back here with a range report when I get the parts installed.  Might be a while as I am having cash-flow problems at the present time.  I know that those two parts aren't much but I have a larger order I want to place and am being patient until I can order it all at once.

my .20 cal gets over 70 shots per cart in the low 300s with a power adjuster  --- good for atleast 6 yards
TOO many freaks and NOT enough circuses

but they look good!

I can attest to the valve reducer working well  :-*

Quotethis might be interesting to you as well  http://www.network54.com/Forum/275684/thread/1350677245/Of+Power+Adjusters+and+Hammer+Springs
I read that last week, thanks.  I think I'll try the valve spacer and the transfer port.  If that works, I'll probably leave it that way.  If I need any further tweaking, I'll probably shorten the hammer spring a little at a time til I get what I want.  If I go too far, I can always start over with a new spring.
