I managed to get 3 coats of tung oil on the Sears pumper.  I'm liking how it is looking not sure if it needs any more.

Thank you sir..The barrel came from my 1377..I have 2 extra brand new and never been mounted Crosman barrels in .177, both 24' in length but I do not have the heart to have them cut..It is not easy to acquire them here in the Phils. lots of my friends have been bugging me to sell it to them lol! Regards.

looks very well balanced senor crossliner but the red dot looks a bit lost on the AA
i've been fitting a piece of .20 sheridan barrel to one of my king ratties but not sure if i'm goinging to go any further with it ,i think it'll go back in the spares/junk box as its grouping like a scattergun at 20yds
might try to put a choke on it and will try a few different pellets first though

..... i just tightened up my barrel band shimming it with a ginger ale can , took 6 strips for me . it feels tighter , but i'll find out tomorrow how much it helps because it too late to shoot now .

Nervoustrigger makes nice guides. I just bookmarked that one, thanks for the link.

Now THAT is a really nice write-up format (whether all mods and methods are endorsed or not).  Thanks for that link.  I added it to the "collection".  :)

it's a bit breezy here today but did some shooting to try the mod . my "groups" did seem to get tighter .... except when i shot with the breeze . i did have to slightly adjust the scope , but i got quite a few that were touching and a few seemed to go in the same hole . those were probably luck because i was shooting at about 18 yards , but they were (as best as i recall) smaller than before and the barrel band doesn't seem to wiggle when pumping anymore . i'll come back and give my results when the air is still .
