Right then... have noticed the "knocks" type reviews, can't quite understand them given the quality and price and internal design efforts by Walther.

Give us a range report soon? and... how quiet is it compared to a doofer on a co2 gun?

Here are some initial thoughts.

This was 1st shot with it, I took out of box aimed with open sites & got this.  Yes only 6 yards but untouched, also next 2 were cloverleaf.  http://instagram.com/p/bbSY9BkQke/

1st shot at HFT a week later was a knockdown, I'm afraid after that I did fall back to old ways and scored I think 29 out of 60.  But that was totally me, guessing distances and having previously used 22 I was holding over and under, this hits where you aim.  This I found at the sighting range where consistently clover leafing at 30,40 and 45 yards not problem.

I need someone else to shoot it with a doofer as there is some transferred internal noise if firing, having said that I have tried with doofer on just holding pointed at backstop and it seemed a little louder than my 2300 with same doofer.  Not sure this would be the same a few years away.  Will try to find out.

I've read some pretty positive reviews of the new LGV. I sure would like to give one a run!
I'm guessing your groups will tighten up once you get a feel for it

Thursday night I tore into one of my Crosman 101's that wasn't pumping up and found a cracked pump cup, the above is the repair part I made Friday evening. The stock cup holder threaded on the end of the piston, I don't have a good 5/16"-24 bottoming tap and didn't feel like grinding down one of the normal ones I have so I made a two piece adapter and used sleeve retainer to hold them together. I think I made the groove too tight though as I'm pretty sure there are cuts or gouges in the ring after getting it in, didn't deburr like I should have...

Made some new brass safeties and bolts for my 2400 and 2240. Got plenty of round stock left so I tried a bolt handle. The first two I didn't like so I changed the design a bit. Added a piece of 1/4" round to the handle and a little polishing with emery cloth it was done. Not fancy, but it works great.

looks good chaps most of the stuff i make isn't perfect it works but it often has a slight cosmetic flaw which doesn't effect it working but does niggle me(one of the reason i don't make parts for other people)

I feel the same way...Drives me nuts   Since I don't plan on mass producing parts or selling the AG's, It will do fine. Made another handle...
