Yep, I feel a little better now, knowing that I can take the valve out and get the gun back together, but I was not able to take the valve apart. I just need to get the right parts and then rip and tear. I have seen extra parts on ebay and there are more guns out there. It is not like these are the only parts left. I am going to fix this thing if it is the last build I do.  :P :P
We need to keep going and have fun doing it.

I feel the same way about learning to shoot my .20 P-1 accurately if it's the last thing I do. :-*  RC

a few bits of brass for my mk1 that i'm gradually converting to an ld style carbine
next will be fitting a 14mm fx/walther barrel but i'll get my good friend john small to turn it to the right od and thread it for the rear barrel retaining nut
i'm also going to look at fitting an o ring either side of the barrel port and maybe some bellevilles where the barrel passes through the rear shroud boss

doing something a bit different with a as2250xt that will do away with the naff double seal on the transfer tube and increase valve volume
i'm using a disco rear valve case which i've shortened at the front by 5mm to allow the 22mm valve front to lip into the rear tube by 3mm and give me 2mm more meat where the side port is
i've fitted a p-rod valve stem by boring the stem hole partially out and fitted a threaded brass sleeve plus an o ring to eliminate any blow through
the valve has up rated csk fixings even though all the pressure will be contained in the valve and i'll be drilling the front breech screw m4 and threading into the valve plus drilling and tapping m4 for the rear screw position,i may add two front screws into the new valve front similar to the p-rod fixings if i think it needs it to reinforce the connection between the new ally front and the rear steel part
next stage will be cutting the ally valve front so it's the same length as a 2250 tube and bring the front out to form the front air chamber

Great stuff there Ped,
Keep us informed on the progress with the as2250xt, I have an old one myself and keep looking to do something with it. Though my machining is very limited.
Btw, did you get the 22mm ally tube locally, am wanting some for another project I have been waiting to do.

it's not ally tube shaun it's a solid piece of ally that i've machined to be the valve front and bored the front out so that it's an air reservoir so the entire ally piece is the valve front
this allows me to do away with the little spacer that goes between the front air transfer tube and the valve and has increased the valve volume by at least 3 times i guess(haven't worked the volume out)
i use ringwood metals on evil bay for ally tube

Ok cheers for that Ped, keep us informed of the work on the as2250xt. Only asked if it was local as I only live a few miles down road from you, Huddersfield ;)

Had a little time to play with the Crosman 100 tonight. :)  Finished the valve body, check valve and pump assembly. Partially assembled and tested...pumps up and near as I can tell, the valve holds perfectly. 8)  Dis-assembled, cleaned and partial re-assembly...just about ready for paint and the bulk of the machine work completed.  :)

made the eb20 a little bit quieter by adding a 1" pistol ldc
to do this i've altered a bluestreak 1/2"unf ldc adapter by shortening the back and adapting a 2240 co2 cap to fit, which involved removing most of the front to give room for the adapter and tapping m8 so a grub screw with a nut bonded on can be used to press against the co2 cart
