What work did you just do?

Well after having my 25 M-Rod for a year or so, I decided to refinish the orangish light brown stock. Will go into details if anyone wants, but here's a couple of before, and after pics. Let me know what you think.

Oh yeah, the black is bed liner where the checkering is to give better grip, and I extended it around the bottom of the grip area.

I just cleaned up a really old Sheridan Blue Streak .20 cal co2 rifle I had since I was a kid that my dad got a long time before that. I sanded the stock and put tongue oil on it. Looks great. I had to oil it down to clean off the rust and do a weird mod to fix the leaking valve. I couldn't help myself and had to nip a coil off the sear spring while I was "under the hood", and now the thing shoots like a dream.

Thanks guys, it took about a week to pull it all together, and I'm quite pleased with it now. Also kinda afraid to take it out, as I don't want to bang it up, but I'll get over it when the tree rats start raiding the bird feeders again.

Jauvesst, that looks very promising, sweet grips on that polished frame.

im pretty much done polishing the rest of the 1377 now, LW barrel included but im having a bit of a issue with my extended hollow probe. gonna hold off messing around with it further until my package of parts arrives next week since all that stuff has to come off again anyway
