airmec,

Looks to be a repeater breech, yes?   Very nice, and interesting metal selection.    :-* :-*

TH49 those lead pills look great and you did a fine job casting the lot.

An excellent job of finally making some good use of those surplus sinkers which never seem to bring home anything edible.  ;D

airmec, very nice work on that breech.  Looks tall, is it perhaps a repeater?

Unfortunately no, it's not a repeater :(. I'm not that good yet ;D. But yes, it's a high rise breech, and it should allow me to free-float the barrel. It'll be a strong point in my Gauntlet build ;).
A machinist friend of mine gave me some big bars of that material before moving out of town, they were used as sliders on a big automated machine of some sort he dismantled. Very nice once polished, and very resistant too, yet easy to machine.

And thanks for the nice comments, guys, very appreciated :).

I finally got around to installing one of those LED lights that use the rechargeable 18650 LI-ION battery.
Wow! At lot of light for $15.00... :-*

What light is this?

I made a Stock Adapter (for 13XX tube size) and Rod-Type Stock.  Wood butt of the lowest quality product (2X2 pine) in the local BB.  Hickory stained - had considered black lacquer which may yet be the butt finish.  The rod is 1/2 aluminum and threaded to the adapter - 3/8"-24 tpi about 3/4" of threads.

This is awesome  :-\ :-\ :-\

Tried my hand at making a hollow probe bolt, again in SS, for re-converting my 2250B to .22 cal. Just a prototype, but it works real good :) . I'll eventually fit a bigger O-ring on it, but it's not leaking with that one.
