The little family is growing.  Here's some ivory grips so fresh I haven't even fine sanded the edge flash yet.  No checkering, completely solid and ambidextrous.

Been having a slight issue with the safety on my BlueFork frame that adorns "Stone Cold".
Removed the grip frame and the small set screw that adjust the detente ball. Seems the groove for the ball was either not deep enough or off be .010" or so. Got it all realigned and found a small spring to set on the ball. All is well again.

Just the same over here Ed, 2 inches and we come to a standstill.

No direct jobs done on my guns today, I decided to tidy up and put all my spares in little clear boxes so that I can find them more easily.

Yep, ok trigger time!!!  :)
Breech band that can clamp tube to barrel - maybe set screw on bottom to force pressure between and seal up the TP?

Anyone know how to "jewel" metal?  I'd love to try that on a steel breech that was polished.

Got a drill press and an indexing table?

Brownell's or Midway sell the tooling. You use small, cylinder shaped rubber abrasive rods, held in a special mandrel. This is locked in a drill press and the part is held on the press table, prefrebly in a cross slide vise. The rod is lowered onto the piece and allowed to polish a small circle. The piece is moved over about 1/2 the diameter of the first spot and lowered again.

Basically, you are putting symetrical swirls or patterns down on the metal.

Hopefully this technique carries over to steel:
