Nicely done Eric  :-* , I have done similar to several guns... i.e. strip and remove that god-awful factory stain and just use a light, clear-ish stain or even Old English followed by mutliple waxings. Even my humble little Daisy 22SG pumper looks classic now after a stain facelift.

Those opaque type finishes used by the OEMs are crap-ola!  :D

thanks larry. the barrel was badly pitted towards the muzzle and it was kind of an experiment as well ---- i have another barrel for it from my other 160 plus i wanted a little carbine  :)

Eric if I knew how to cut and crown barrels like you all my guns would look like that! I just love short barrel rifles and you have some of the very best I've seen  :-* :-*

i like the carbine look as well --- i have another 160 that i replaced the oem barrel with a lw barrel and it is a tad longer ,so i figured a shorter, lighter 160 was needed  :)
