Oh, a wise guy.   ;D ;D ;D

I'm still trying to decide if I should put carpet, magazines, old clothes or nothing but I will post results.
Very nice trap vertguy.  :-*
;D ;D
imo the hose could work been thinking about the gun range. they use chunks of tire with their backstop here, other places probably do, too
i think i would need more hose for my guns, well, except my 1377 that is less than 2-digit fpe but high single digit ;)

today i am going to work on a ldc that has been giving me problems. need to make the hole bigger for the pellet to go through. right now it is a very tight fit and the pellets clip. the sound dampening is great though. changes the pitch of the sound to a whistle that sounds pretty cool unlike any of my other ldc's which sound like a loose, muffled cough ;)

Installed my first batch of mods including a Crosman steel breech & LPA mim rear sight, Archer Airguns super sear, and Mac1 extended bolt handle & lighter trigger spring. The difference is night and day from the reduced trigger pull (along with less slop thanks to the washers in the super sear kit), to the increased accuracy from the much better rear sight. I was finally able to tighten up my target groupings and am very satisfied with the overall set-up. Enough so that I cancelled my Mellon and Cothran orders.

And since I was thinking about trying to make this into a carbine, I may just stop with the RB grips and order a Crosman DOB kit during the PA Labor Day sale :-*

Glad the results were so positive. With a shoulder stock, you essentially would have a DBO, but you can never just have one Crosman pistol, though.

Yeah, I have thought about picking up the stock... but I also like the flexibility of the quick swap between pistol and stock with the DOB. And by the time I would buy the backpacker style stock, release pin and even the larger pump handle (which I like), I could almost have paid for the DOB. Along with having a 22 cal and a 2nd gun. Hindsight is always much clearer, but not like these toys are near as expensive as modding my car. Which will make the decision much easier. The only issue is explaining to my wife why I need multiple airguns as the original intent was to use it for critter control in the yard. Nothing like having options!

Just tell her it is a "backup gun"...you know, just in case the first one happens to have "issues"... ;)

My wife is used to it with the car modding as FedEx or UPS seems to leave packages by my garage very regularly. So she will give me grief, but in the end she is fine with my hobbies.
