Been working on the trigger pull of my 2240, 2400 and Vigilante. Unfortunately the only way to judge the results was by feel. After the work they felt lighter but by how much So I picked up a GPS (spring) trigger pull gauge from Amazon. I had no base numbers on the 2240 or 2400, since I had already done the mods prior to getting the gauge. I tested the pull using the gauge and got the following results...On my 2240 it was 2.4 lbs; on the 2400 it was 2.8 lbs; and on the Vigilante it was 6.8 lbs on the double action and 3.4 lbs on the single action. Originally it was 5.0 lbs on the single action before tuning. Reading the customer reviews on the gauge the feedback was very good. A couple of people tested it against a digital scale and found it to be +- 1 oz. compared to the digital scale. That's close enough for me.

I put one of my two disassembled Crosman 600's back together today.  Got repair parts from JG Airguns and Mac1 Airguns.

Cool... the 600 is a little daunting the first time you tear it down but, patience, a keen eye and good inventory control of the parts (I use pellet tins labeled with part I.D.) make it methodical after that.

Cleaning and "strategic" lube is a must with these great old guns. And TLC of the entire feed mechanism.

Pretty cool if it were an extra one, but agree that it looks better in black if I only had one.

The wonderful Lawrie Amatruda did a service and reseal of my 600 and she is now running better than ever (and no more locking issue either).
I've reinstalled my longer barrel so I can fit my pickle and here she is on video phutt phutt
