Bud

I just got my new tube plug back from the machine shop. I had him extend the back by 2", and drill and tap a 1/2'" hole in the back. I have a piece of 1/2" diameter rod threaded on one end, which screws into the tube plug. I am going to weld a piece of flat stock on it for a butt plate. My intent is to have a take down 1322 rifle. When my son comes by I will have him post pictures. :)

Sounds like fun Bud.

I recently installed a solid hammer in my 2400kt and an extended bolt and bluefork pump pivot in my 1377.  Turned the 2400kt back into a carbine and swapped scopes with the 1377 which is back in pistol form.   Both guns are nicely accurate with little left to do on either.........which of course means I need another project.  An iron sighted 2240 with the 10" LW barrel for indoor target shooting is one direction.
Man, that was close!

Finished putting together the QB "Renegade" stock. I think it came out pretty cool considering I was going to toss it away  :)  Just wish I would have sanded the inside of the holes better  >:(

Back when I thought I could thread a piece of alum tube for a Prod shroud project I got some tube.  Found out that by using O-rings held in place by tape on both sides I could keep the tube centered on the barrel and held firmly in place.  I had previously got an LDC from Anthony Storey in Ind. that was squared instead of tapered.  Luckily they matched up.
The 1701 isn't loud but, I do need quiet in my backyard and this does the trick.   IMO it gives a "finished" look to the 1701.
