Bad experience with one when I was younger. Learned real quick that with my bone condition, a chiropractor was a no go for me. Sometimes I wish I could, thats for sure!

BTW: the m-rod trigger group is a fantastic upgrade. I need to lighten it up a tad, just a tad though. I do think this was the significant difference in improving the accuracy on this one. Highly reccomended as a #1 replacement if you have a Disco. I actually like the feel of the 1701p trigger better, but it is close, so very close to each other,

Did you remove the Lawyer Spring?  It does make it even better with the spring out.

Was loaned an old .30cal air rifle to check out and see if it can be made useable. Have never seen anything like it before, no idea who made it. Not a Crosman, but easily worth a peek... Will add todays pictures/work later tonight.

Rich, also make sure all the other springs are installed correctly.  The m-rod trigger group I bought was put together wrong making it feel like a heavy trigger but one spring was installed wrong causing it to lift one of the secondary levers along with the sear. I thought that everyone was blowing smoke saying how good and light this trigger was. Well after figuring out the spring was installed wrong it turns out it is a fantastic trigger, even better than the 1701/ p-rod group.

No.   Popular opinion thus far is a well skilled individual..ie home build.

New delrin seals are "almost" holding at 120psi, will finish the fill adapter tonight and see if it seals at higher pressure.

Edit;

Fill adapter... 11x1mm to foster, flanged seal from teflon. Reservoir is resealed and holding 1000psi and no bubbles!   Couple more bits to make and it will bark once more.

Started a new project - .177 Crosman MK II HPA to be a dedicated PFT gun in 'scoped' division.

Didn't like the idea of cutting dovetail rails into the thin frame casting, so made up a two-piece rail instead.

Not 100% done with rail yet (still have to bevel some edges & pretty her up some), but at least I got it fitted last night & made sure everything lines up like it should. Hopefully find time today to get it done.
