Thanks guys.... :-*

Still pretty green to machining, so everything  is a (slow) learning experience...mistakes have (and will) been made. Takes me longer to figure out how to hold a part, set up and/or make jigs/holders than the actual machining of the part.... :o

Still a long ways off from Gipetto/Arkmaker/Ped quality, but I'll get there!

Finished rail (other than anodizing):

Great piece of craftsmanship there. Real professional quality work.  :-*

I wonder what the production costs and retail prices would be if they built the Mk 1 or Mk2 today?
Considering the price of Umarex all metal revolvers approaching the 300 USD mark I suspect a reissue of the Mk 1 would be in that ball park.

Finally got the stock insert and forearm mounted on my 2250. Bought it off the GTA Hobbyist section. Now to add the riser!

Sure is! I'm impressed w/the ingenuity and craftsmanship from all you people!!

Quick question- I'm trying to use the rear sight from a Chinese rifle, might be an Industry model unknown, but they're good enough for what I'm doing atm. Problem is, the 2400 front sight's too short to sight it in, but not by much. I was told the front sight for the 1701P might be taller than the front sight that comes on a 18" barreled 2400KT. Can anyone confirm this? It's not that I doubt the person that told me, but my question might not have been clear enough.

PM me your address and I'll send you a 760 front sight.  I have a few and no real need.  It is definitely higher that the 2240 front sight.  And the price is right $0.00 ;)
