Got an email this morning...My 2400KT from CCS will be here tomorrow :-* Ordered it on 12/1/12. Bad thing is I can't play with it till Xmas (present from the boss) :( Oh welll...Hopefully the weather will hold (no snow). That was pretty fast delivery.

If it's not broken then modify it!

Well...Gave it a cursory once over when I received it. The blueing looked good. The trigger pull was gritty and heavy (easy fix). The front strap on the grip frame was rough! It looked like they went over it with a coarse file to remove the casting seam then applied the finish.
I was a bit disappointed. One of the selling features for me was all the positive feedback on their finish of the grip frame. I sent Crosman an email voicing my concern. I got a call yesterday, asking me to send photos of the grip frame. I explained that it was wrapped and under the tree :(  According to the customer service rep...They do allow (quality control) some seams on their frames to show. In my opinion this was not what I expected.
I will take the photos and forward them to the customer service rep after Xmas. We shall see the how they rectify (if at all) this problem. My suggestion was to have them send me a new grip frame, which I would swap out. I can understand them wanting to see the grip frame.

Good plan, send e'm some pics, that frame and prob a lot of others got rough filed/sanded and never went back to deburr for finishing before paint.

BTW I bought a PC77 on sale from Walmart a few weeks back and it had the best finish I have ever seen on a stock, 1377 frame, maybe a few of the CCS gun frames got into the wrong box at assembly?

Considering I received my 2400 in eight days (normal 3-6 weeks), it leads me to believe the Crosman elves are working at high speed to meet the holiday demand. Some things slide through the process when this happens. When I take the photos, I'll post em here. I might be over fussy on this, but it is very noticeable. Oh what the hell, I don't mind shaking their tree a bit!

Sometimes you have to prune a branch to make the tree grow right ;)
