Hey guys...looking to try my hand at making some grips. It doesn't appear to be that hard, but I haven't seen a lot on the subject..perhaps I'm not looking in the right places?Guess I'll start by removing any material that isn't a grip.... ;D

Take an idea, trace or draw out it's basic shape, make sure it fits frame indexing posts/tabs/contours and start removing wood to get shape that makes ya smile !!
Doing any freelance wood work is basically that premise   :-*

Of late doing a one off Bull pup WOOD stock that fits over an aluminum C channel frame .... Same idea  ;)

Hey guys, thanks for the help! All your input is much appreciated, and all that's left is to do it to it... :-*
I think I'll practice on some scrap wood first,to avoid messing up some of the more expensive stuff. 8)
