If given the opportunity, would you purchase a new bone stock black 1322 and then trade it even for a 1st variant 1377 in good cosmetic and working condition?

I have never even seen one of these boltless wonders, but I have been given this "opportunity".  Gun... or run ?

I would just make sure the breech is steel not plastic. This is the 2nd phase notice the plastic breech.

I would if it was a true 1377 Phase I, steel breech , one piece grip,  straight grip frame, and correct dated pump tube.

Post pic when & if you get it.

I would even consider it for the phase 2 plastic breech and swap it out for a steel breech with a bolt. The rear cockers are nice. My best shooting pumper

1377x

i would not!
instead of buying a brand new 1322 which is $50+
i would just buy a phase 1 or phase 2 1377 for $25-$40 shipped
it is your choice though i have bought some brand new looking phase 1 and phase 2's for the above prices paying $40 at the most
all came with box and paperwork only needing a reseal which ran me $5 for the kit unless i wanted a brass valve stem then it ran me $10 for the kit

Hey Mike!

Pardon my ignorance, but are steel breeches available for these?

yes!
its the same steel breech all other 13XX guns take the current style barrel is needed to make it work correcty
it will work with the phase 1 or 2  barrel but you will get air in your face loss in performance maybe a custom bolt can be used but it is easier to change to a phase 3/pc77 barrel or 1322 2250 etc

We learn something everyday. I had NO idea some 13XXs had boltless breeches. So cool and would love to have one.

Mike, wanna sell?  ??? ;D ;)

not boltless just a different style
it uses a sliding cover which acts as a bolt handle
to use the bolt in a current 1377 many mods would have to be done and they are not worth it imo

So technically it would be "bolt side handleless", then.   ??? :-*

something like that
i know the old 1377's are more powerful
shooting 525fps at 8 pumps, even with a tired hammer assembly, while the new pc77/phase 3 1377 shoot if you are lucky 525fps at 10 pumps again if you are lucky as the one case of bds where his shoots at flat top velocity

What I meant was boltless HANDLE gig. Still, I want one  :-* :D ;D
