For polishing the trigger parts...

Next time you are at WalMart or a store that has a beauty supply, i.e. stuff for finger nails check out the emery boards. They come in all sorts of grits all the way to polishing. It's okay if you go down that isle, just don't look anybody in the eye  ;D

Yeah, they're right below the Depends and directly across from the gentle glide applicators.  So I moved them at my Walmart.  Just pulled the barcode thingys and all the emory boards... I acted like I owned the place... a man on a mission... and knew what I was supposed to be doing... and put them right between the Catfish Charlie dough bait and the Duck calls (only available space in Sporting goods... except inside the locked gun cases where all the assault rifles used to be).    ;)

the spring is an easy fix that wont cost you any freight
just go to the store buy a cheap adjustable lighter
you those 25 cent lighters that are alwats breaking
take the flint spring out of it and cut it down and old toe/fingernail clipper will cut but dont use on your nails anymore it will have a gouge in it
it also works for the safety spring if you lose it
another part to take out of it is the little o-ring on the adjuster part it seals the the lighter and it will be a good top seal for your transfer port

Just got it back together. Polished trigger sear. Shims on both sides of shear and weaker spring. Not sure but I think the shim on both sides of sear is pinching the sear. Used plastic shims. Should the trigger rebound some after trigger is pulled? Should have paid more attention to trigger action before taking it apart. Dumb newbies!

yes the trigger should rebound
if you have some sandpaper handy take your shims and thin them out with it
try an eraser to hold them find a way if that doesnt work
i have used various methods to do something like that from using a small vise grip with a pin in the middle to slappy hands .the slappy hands stuff work but was a pita
